Friday Follows for Lean Blogs
What blogs do you follow? With twitter folks sharing their favorite follows on Friday’s, I think the bloggers should be doing the same. I’ve found that I’m learning and reading more from bloggers these days than magazines and journals. So I thought I would share some of the bloggers I follow. I started with Mark Graban at LeanBlog.org.
This time I would like to share Karen Wilhelm’s Lean Reflections. Karen started her exposure to lean through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and was the Editor of the online newsletter Lean Directions from SME. Karen has been one of the most studious and thoughtful journalists on lean that I’ve ever met. She’s also one of only 3 (along with Fast Company and Assembly Magazine) that have attended entire courses at the Lean Learning Center.
Karen has been a freelance writing since leaving SME, working on the Lean Reflections blog and writing for AME’s Target Magazine. She recently wrote this article about DTE Energy who we’ve supported on their 11 year journey.
Check out Karen’s blog Lean Reflections, or follow her on twitter at @leanreflect. Say hi from me.
