20 years of consulting: Andy Carlino

by Jamie Flinchbaugh on 01-26-11

Tonight I presented my partner at the Lean Learning Center, Andy Carlino, with the following gift. This year marks some milestones. One is that the Lean Learning Center has been open for 10 years. The other, just as significant, is that we mark 20 years of consulting for Andy. He’s been making contributions to this field for a long time, helped a lot of companies and a lot of people.

We’ve been published in a lot of places – Fast Company, Business Week, and more – but always wanted to be featured in the Wall Street Journal. And so, I found the original artist who created the familiar style of art you see in the Wall Street Journal’s pages, Kevin Sprouls. I commissioned Kevin to do a portrait of Andy. I thought I would share, and if you know Andy, please send him a note about his 20 years of contribution.

  • Hey, congratulations Andy — Whenever I’ve met one of your clients, they are always pleased about what they have learned from you. And the segments you’ve taught at the lean learning center have that great mix of learning and humor. Great work!
