A Call to Action
Don’t generate news; do something newsworthy.
Don’t just post on facebook your distaste of political decisions; get involved, go vote, or run for office.
Don’t complain at the water cooler; have the courage to have difficult conversations with the right people.
Don’t sulk or carry guilt; go apologize.
Don’t just wish you were somewhere else; start moving.
Don’t just sit there; act.
Words can change the world, but only when they lead us to action. Take action. Get up and do something. The world belongs to those who act.
Words that might change something: Emails to your senator and congressperson that Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s CEO Don Berwick should be confirmed as head of Medicare. Imagine would would happen if lean leadership had its chance at that pillar of healthcare delivery.

Superb post, Jamie! I have shared it on my Facebook page and emailed it to several other people. I guess I took action, right? 😉

Awesome stuff Jamie!
We all encounter our challenges and from that we have a choice to make.
We can be become commingled as part of the Problem, by focusing on the negatives, or choose to commit to being part of the Solution thru our Actions to make a difference.
Without Acting on what concerns us, we what have we really accomplished?
